CHALLENGE
The Mary’s Gone Crackers website suffered from a very poor UI/UX experience sitewide from content access through the e-commerce experience and in particular, the mobile experience. The site was also built without ADA compliance in mind making it very difficult for users who need accessibility to navigate.
OBJECTIVES
Create a website that is user friendly, informative, and accessible. The main goals of the project are to 1) have users get to and purchase products quickly, 2) find Mary’s easily in-store, 3) search great Mary’s recipes and pairings, and 4) learn more about the company and their mission. The mobile experience was also a top priority as most of their consumers shop that way.
RESULTS
Designed a heavily revamped Shopify e-commerce experience
Simplified the user flow with a new site map that allowed users to easily accomplish the company’s four main objectives
Introduced full ADA compliance making the all-around site experience much more user friendly
